ArcView2 Visual welding monitoring

Live view of the arc: More control, fewer errors

In the world of welding, precision counts. Faulty connections not only mean production losses, but also significant financial losses. Visual welding monitoring with ArcView2 not only detects potential errors at an early stage, but it also increases the efficiency of your welding processes.

ArcView2 allows you to monitor your welding in real time as well as record and archive valuable video data. This gives you full control over your welds and enables you to analyze them in unprecedented detail.

The advantages of ArcView2

System integration

ArcView2 is an integral part of the entire welding system and ensures direct communication with the TPS/i or iWave. This connection allows precise control as well as images to be taken.

Remote monitoring for maximum safety

ArcView2 delivers safe visual welding monitoring, allowing you to observe the welding process from a distance. This minimizes health risks, and even applications with process-related access restrictions such as LaserHybrid welding can be monitored with ease.

Optimal accessibility

Even in challenging environments—for example, where large components or systems are involved—you can easily monitor the welding process with ArcView. Thanks to its compact and robust design, the tool can even be used in pipes and under special climatic conditions.
Icon increased efficiency

Precise error analysis

Faster, more accurate welding: ArcView2 provides an accurate analysis of problem and error areas. The cost-saving recordings of critical welds enable you to avoid repeating welding processes and increase production efficiency.

Extended visibility

The high-performance camera captures details that are imperceptible to the human eye. Arc suppression and HDR image generation provide live insights into specific welding phases and optimal image quality—irrespective of the lighting conditions.

Taking welding process monitoring to a new level

Be it for aluminum, steel, or special processes such as Cycle Step, ArcView2 provides excellent recordings thanks to the direct connection to Fronius welding systems (TPS/i or iWave). From standard dip transfer arcs to LaserHybrid and TIG applications, this system opens up completely new perspectives of the processes. Anyone who has only ever seen what’s going on through a welding helmet will be amazed!

Extensive camera settings allow you to set the ideal parameters and save profiles for each welding process.

Process trigger & HDR image quality

Process trigger

ArcView2 captures the welding process with precise, pulse-controlled image generation, which is activated in the dark phases. Thanks to intelligent arc suppression, the technology provides users with live insights into specific welding phases (e.g., CMT short circuit).

HDR image quality

By combining different exposures, we create an HDR image quality that ensures comprehensive detail and clarity even in very different light conditions.

Better overview, more flexibility, greater safety All welding data at a glance: ArcView2 is easy to operate via a user-friendly graphical PC user interface. Important welding parameters, such as current, voltage, and wire speed, are clearly displayed. You can integrate the cameras into partially and fully automated welding systems without a system operator having to be in the immediate vicinity of the welding process. This boosts flexibility and safety for your team.
